What Your Child Gets

More than a fun hour.

Three things every student walks away with after one session.

🤝

Real connections

Meet other kids who actually get what their life is like — virtual schoolers, homeschoolers, and students who've never quite fit the traditional mold. The community is the thing.

🏆

Something they built

Your child leaves with a finished product they're proud of — a 10-page AI storybook, a playable Scratch game, or new friendships from across the country. Not a participation ribbon.

💡

A new sense of what's possible

One hour is enough to change how a kid thinks about learning. No grades, no pressure — just proof they can create something from scratch with the right environment around them.

What Families Say

Real Unbound families.

What it's like when school actually fits your family's life.

Student in virtual class
"Our son trains five days a week and still thrives academically."
At every other school, our son was constantly choosing between learning and doing what he loves. Unbound eliminated that choice entirely. He thrives academically AND athletically now.
Rochelle R. · Chandler, AZ
Parent and child learning together
"Two hours of focused learning. The rest? Real life."
Our boys finish core academics in just two hours a day, then spend the rest on real-world skills. The small class sizes, supportive environment, and emphasis on life readiness made this a clear winner.
Breanna L. · Tucson, AZ
Student engaged in virtual learning
"The traditional education system is long overdue for a change."
As a parent who believes in AI and modern education, Unbound was an easy decision. The business and tech workshops are exactly what kids need for the world they're actually growing up in.

FAQs

Common Questions.

Can't find what you're looking for? Contact us — we reply same day.

Are these sessions really free? +
Yes — completely free. No credit card, no application, no fees of any kind. Just sign up and show up. These are open virtual workshops, no strings attached.
Are these live classes or pre-recorded? +
Live. Your child joins an interactive Zoom session with a teacher and other students. They participate, ask questions, and build in real time — it's not a video to watch.
What does my child need to join? +
A laptop or desktop computer and a stable internet connection. For the Game session, a free Scratch account helps (your child can set one up in 2 minutes). For the Story session, a Gmail account. The teacher will walk through setup at the start — no prep needed.
Are these for homeschooled students too? +
Absolutely. These sessions were built with virtual and homeschool families in mind. Your child will be alongside other students who understand what it's like to learn outside a traditional classroom.
Can my child do all three? +
Yes — and we recommend it. Each session is a completely different activity, and the three workshops happen on different days of the week. You can sign up for all three in the same week of June or spread them across the month.
What grades are these for? +
Students in grades 4–8 (for the 2026–2027 school year). The sessions are designed to be accessible and engaging across that full range.
Is this related to Unbound Academy? +
Yes — these sessions give you a real taste of what Unbound afternoons look like every day. Unbound is a tuition-free virtual public charter school for Arizona grades 4–8 where students master academics in 2 hours, then spend afternoons in hands-on skill workshops like these. If you're curious about full enrollment, we're happy to chat after your session.
